The Leelanau Peninsula Chamber of Commerce is taking nominations for the 2012 Outstanding Business of the Year Award.

The award was started in 2010 as a way of recognizing a Leelanau County business that exemplifies the purpose of the Chamber’s mission.

Deadline is Oct. 1. Nomination forms are available at the LPCC office at 5046 S. West Bayshore Drive, Suttons Bay, or by calling 231-271- 9895 or contacting the Chamber office at info@leelanauchamber.com.

Businesses must be physically located in the county, and must be LPCC members. All nominees will be notified and invited to the LPCC Business After Hours on Oct. 11, at Eagle’s Ridge in Peshawbestown. The award will be announced at the LPCC Annual Dinner on Oct. 25.
