Photographers, halloween and bonsai at library

Several special events will be offered by the Suttons Bay-Bingham District Library through the rest of the month.

On Tuesday at 6 p.m. professional photographers Todd and Brad Reed, father and son, will discuss their Michigan Notable Book Awardwinning photo collection titled “Tuesdays with Todd and Brad Reed.” The book chronicles a year’s worth of Tuesdays in Michigan.

On Sunday, Oct. 26, the library will partner with the Friendship Community Center on Broadway at St. Mary’s Avenue in downtown Suttons Bay on a family-oriented Halloween Harvest festival complete with carnival games such as bobbing for apples as well as Halloween crafts and snacks. The event will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Friendship Community Center. Costumes are encouraged.

On Thursday, Oct. 30 at 6 p.m., Rich Hoover of the Bonsai Club will present a bonsai workshop at the library.
