Centerville Township Planning Commission Notice to the Public

The application is required for a wedding and event venue per Section 4.24.3 of the Agricultural Tourism Ordinance. Glen Arbor Township Notice to the Public

Board Meeting Synopsis
July 21, 2015

The Regular Board meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM. All Board members were present. The agenda was approved with additions. By motion, minutes from the 6/16/15 regular meeting were approved. There was public comment. Cash on hand $2,284,343. The Board approved by motion to pay expenses of $37,734 (Gen’l Fund) and $193,189 (Emergency Services).

ESAC reported that the ambulance bid was released and that bids were due by 8/5/15. The Zoning Administrator’s and Assessor’s reports were presented in writing. Correspondence was reviewed. By motion, the Board approved Resolution #9-2015, the Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan. Also by motion, the board agreed to pursue a speed study for Northwood Drive. Richard Quick submitted his resignation from the Park Commission. Soderholm nominated Rick Schanhals, Laura Wiesen, and Jim Munson to fill the Park Commission vacancies, which was approved by motion. Kelly reported that there will be a public hearing on 8/6/15 regarding rezoning of the Hemphill property. He also stated that there would be a public hearing in late August for the Master Plan. Soderholm stated that the auditors would make their presentation at the August board meeting.

Northport Village Notice to the Public

The Village of Northport Council adopted the following Resolution amending Village Ordinance 95 at its regular meeting held July 2, 2015.

That Section 4.3 of Ordinance no. 95 is amended to read, in its entirety, as follows:

All costs, expenses and liability incident to the installation, inspection, repair, maintenance, replacement and connection of the building sewer to the Public Sanitary Sewer System shall be borne by the owner. The owner shall indemnify and save harmless the Authority from any loss or damage that may directly or indirectly be occasioned by the installation of the building sewer.

Upon approval by a majority of the Village Council, and concurrence by resolution of the constituent municipalities, the Authority Secretary shall publish a notice of the adoption of this Resolution, and a copy of the amended Section 4.3 in the Leelanau Enterprise: and

That the Amendment shall become effective 30 days after date of the publication of the aforesaid amendment.

Suttons Bay Village Council Notice to the Public

Synopsis of Suttons Bay Village Council Regular Meeting of July 20, 2015

Regular Meeting Called to Order 5:30 p.m. Quorum present.

Present: President Brandt, Trustees: Christensen, Hylwa, Hollander, Bumgardner and Johnson. Absent: Bahle

Council held a public hearing to hear comments on the vacating of an alley in Block 37. Council unanimously resolved to vacate the alley in Block 37; offered a certificate of appreciation to Steve Gregory and adopted the Hazard Mitigation Plan as presented.

Council approved the minutes of the previous meeting and authorized payment of bills.

The next regular meeting will take place on August 17 at 5:30 p.m.

The meeting adjourned at 5:50 p.m.
