Notice of Public Hearing

Please take notice that the Village of Northport Planning Commission will conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday, August 18, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. at the Northport Village Offices, 116 W. Nagonaba St., Northport, MI 49670 and consider the following:

An amendment of the Village of Northport Zoning Ordinance Article 10; R-2 Village Residential Zoning District, to allow Planned Unit Developments as a use permitted under a special use permit.

The proposed amendment may be examined at the Northport Village Office, 116 W. Nagonaba St., Northport, MI 49670 during regular business hours.

Written comments may be sent or delivered to the Village of Northport, P.O. Box 336, Northport, MI 49670 and will be received until the time of the hearing.

Leland Township Planning Commission Notice to the Public

Leland Township requests two Special Land Use permits, under Leland Township Zoning Ordinance Articles 6, 7 and 16.21:

For a new fire and rescue station in Leland, located in the R-2 Medium Density Village Residential District, Tax ID 009-580-107&108&109-00. The parcels are located at 203 S. Grand Ave., Section 9, T30N, R12W, in Leland.

For a completely renovated fire and rescue station in Lake Leelanau, located in the C-2 General Commercial District, Tax ID 009-023-038-10. The parcel is located at 352 W. Main St., Section 23, T30N, R12W, in Lake Leelanau.
