WIGGS WIGGS A 34-year-old Cedar man was arraigned in 86th District Court on Tuesday on a charge of felony drunken driving.

Christopher M. Wiggs, of 10901 S. Kasben, is currently free on a $50,000 personal recognizance bond.

Wiggs was pulled over for erratic driving at Lime Lake Road and M-22 in Cleveland Township at about 2:40 p.m. on Sept. 14, according to a court report.

Deputies had been on the lookout for Wiggs after a witness had called 9-1-1 to report he had been seen getting into a vehicle at a nearby golf course, the report said.

An investigation found that Wiggs had a blood alcohol content of .3 percent, the report said.

Wiggs is requesting a court-appointed attorney. A probable cause conference has been set for Oct. 4 and a preliminary examination on the charges for Oct. 11.

Felony drunken driving is punishable by up to five years in prison and fines of up to $5,000.
