The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Cal Little, with Clerk Jane Keen, Treasurer Shirley Garthe and Trustees Tony Borden and Tim Cypher and 11 guests present. The agenda was approved. Minutes were approved for October 10 and 25. The Treasurer’s Report was approved. The following board actions were taken:

 Approved purchase of a new ambulance cot

 Approved a Beechwood Cemetery cremains wall

 Approved an agreement for library management

 Adopted a General Code Penalty Ordinance

 Adopted a Littering/Vandalism Ordinance

Suttons Bay Village Council Notice

Synopsis of Suttons Bay Village Council Regular meeting of November 21, 2016.

Regular meeting called to order at 5:30 p.m., Quorum present.

Present: Karl Bahle, Will Case, Colleen Christensen, Robert Johnson, Steve Lutke, and Roger Suppes. Absent: Richard Hylwa.

Council approved the minutes of October 17, 2016 and approved payment of bills.

Council approved to fund a match amount of approximately $224,358.00 for the TAP Project. Council authorized minimum payment of the 2015 Chargeback in the amount of $3,797.00. Council approved the Agreement for Law Enforcement Services with Leelanau County, to provide general Law Enforcement Services, at a cost specified in the Agreement. Council approved the Performance Resolution for Governmental Agencies as prepared by the MI Dept. of Transportation.

President Lutke nominated Colleen Christensen as President Pro Tem. Christensen accepted.

The meeting adjourned at 6:05 p.m.

Public Hearings-Leelanau County Road Commission

The Board of County Road Commissioners has scheduled public hearings during their Tuesday, December 6, 2016 regular meeting at 1:15 p.m. at the Suttons Bay garage located at 10550 E. Eckerle Road, Suttons Bay, Michigan.

The purpose of this public hearing is to listen to comments/questions concerning the proposed 2017 Road Commission budget.

Notice Of Mortgage Foreclosure Sale

Empire Township Board Minutes

The following is a synopsis of the November 8, 2016 regular meeting of the Empire Township Board. A complete copy of the minutes may be obtained by contacting the Clerk at 231-326-5349.

Supervisor Noonan called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Members present: Deering, Neiswonger, Price, and Deegan. Minutes of the 10-11-16 regular meeting were approved.

Actions approved by motions: 1) Authorized Supervisor Noonan to negotiate and sign the presented campground lease, with minor modifications allowed, with Empire Village. 2) Accepted John Barker’s resignation from the Zoning Board of Appeals. 3) Paid monthly bills.
