Campground lease on agenda

Discussion and possible adoption of a lease agreement for the Empire Township Campground is on the agenda for the Empire Village Council meeting being held at 7 p.m. tonight at the Township Hall. The jointly-owned campground has been a matter of discussion at the last couple of council meetings as the village wants to share in the campground profits for its public parks. The village will hold its regular meeting tonight — instead of a workshop — due to the holidays.
