Wednesday, Feb. 8

11:53 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Husband won’t give caller the car keys. He was going 60 mph on M-72 and refused to stop when asked.

1:05 p.m. — Leland Township — Son is suicidal. On meds. No weapons. Not currently violent. Laying on the floor.

4:19 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Male subject just drove by in a GMC pickup while caller was getting his mail. Rolled down the window and spit at him.

7:06 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Father and grandparents being abused.

11:01 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller walked out of restaurant and two cars were parked side-by-side with lights on. Caller is nervous to go out to her car. Doesn’t want to see an officer.

Thursday, Feb. 9

1:27 a.m. — Leland Township — Deputy checking on a pedestrian walking around in downtown Leland. “Just going for a walk,” the pedestrian said.

2:36 a.m. — Centerville Township — Suspicious vehicle parked in front of address. Driver got out and walked to neighbors then walked back to the vehicle.

6:42 a.m. — Bingham Township — Bicyclists in the road wearing all black. Riding in the southbound lane of M-22. Tiny flashing red light on the back of the helmet, but still as hazard.

8:37 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Gallon of vodka stolen. Male with gray shirt, red baseball cap and jeans.

9:53 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller found brown farm duck. Has it in car with her. (Animal returned to owner by caller.)

12:51 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Contractor hired to finish cabinets and counter-tops. Did most of the work but not all of it and will not return calls or finish the work. It’s been six months since he was last on the job.

3 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Unidentified male caller says another male is getting violent. Drunk. No weapons.

4:35 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller thought she saw a young boy hitchhiking around 4 p.m. Wearing all black, no gloves. Thumb out.

10:22 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller says her washing machine is stuck “on.” Bathroom is full of water. Caller is afraid of electrocution.

Friday, Feb. 10

9:22 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller thinks her car was stolen. She didn’t owe any money on it.

4:03 p.m. — Empire — Caller wants to report an error on a previous police report. Says that mother hacked her Facebook account — not her email, as police report states.

6:20 p.m. — Empire Township — Caller has 14-year-old grandson that walked away from house. A little bit unruly. Brown coat and went south on Plowman.

10:32 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Employee is threatening suicide.

Saturday, Feb. 11

2:28 a.m. — Northport — Duty crew at Northport Fire Department sees a structure fire fully engulfed — trailer across the street from the fire hall.

9:07 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller says male subject is verbally abusing her. Nothing physical.

10:18 p.m. — Bingham Township — Caller was driving with cardboard in the bed of his truck and did not have it weighted. Came out of vehicle between Cherry Bend and Bingham Road.

Sunday, Feb. 12

12:58 p.m. — Kasson Township — Drain under the road has broken and water is pouring into the driveway and the house. Caller requests a call to the Road Commission.

5:12 p.m. — Kasson Township — Trooper out with a demolished Skidoo snowmobile on the side of M-72, about 400 yards south of Shimek’s Corner.

6:06 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller was trying to listen to music and his wife unplugged radio and hit him in the mouth and groin area.

Monday, Feb. 13

11:49 a.m. — Leland Township — Employee did not show up for work. Phone not on or not answering. No medical problems. Caller hasn’t seen subject since Saturday.

5:18 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Silver Malibu with missing front end has been parked in the cul-de-sac all winter. Now moved near caller’s driveway, blocking snowplowing.

Tuesday, Feb. 14

5:14 a.m. — Bingham Township — Caller hit two deer; one still in the road.
