12:18 a.m. — Suttons Bay — Family trouble. Verbal argument. Caller would like deputy to respond, explain options and help calm things down.

1:02 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Someone went off the roadway, ran over a speed limit sign and drove through yard.

7:40 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Motorist did not stop. Vehicle down the embankment.

10:41 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Mom lost $5,000 to a scam. She has dementia. Caller does not want deputy going to mom’s home yet. Mother will come to Sheriff’s office to speak to deputy.

3:55 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller lives in Flint. Received large electric bill for cottage and wonders if there has been a break in or a wind blown open door. (Thoroughly checked. No signs of trouble.)

4:45 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller was contacted by subject saying they could get $9,000 from the government through Western Union.

Thursday, Feb. 16

9:40 a.m. — Cleveland Township — Red Acura at the end of the road by the lake. Caller thinks someone is sleeping inside but doesn’t want to knock on the window.

6:23 p.m. — Bingham Township — Caller’s car was sideswiped in parking lot.

Friday, Feb. 17

4:46 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Red sedan parked at the east of West Lake Michigan Drive. Saw a man on the phone.

4:58 p.m. — Empire Township — Female left with a bottle of alcohol stuffed down her pants.

6:16 p.m. — Suttons Bay — Driver mistook gas for break pedal and drove Jeep into bricks.

9:01 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Small SUV driving in the field north of caller’s house chasing deer.

9:36 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Power out. Fuse box caught fire.

10:21 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Boyfriend is drunk and won’t leave caller’s bedroom. He lives in the same building.

10:30 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Maroon Suburban driving extremely fast. Swerving in and out of traffic. Passing illegally.

Saturday, Feb. 18

12:54 a.m. — Leland Township — Fire alarm accidentally activated. Burned popcorn.

2:44 p.m. — Bingham Township — BMX bike, black and red, missing.

6:23 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller received a scam via text. Message stated “We know who you are and what you did.” Caller did not recognized the sender’s number. Did not provide a name. From Newaygo.

11:10 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Loud party with college-aged kids and a lot of bass music at new log home on south side of the road.

Sunday, Feb. 19

11:10 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Neighbor’s three, medium-size dogs have been barking for three hours. Currently in a kennel. Caller doesn’t want to be seen, but would like owner spoken to.

1:29 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Park ranger saw a group of six people, a film crew and two people in camo carrying weapons. After investigating the weapons were found to be air-soft.

6:25 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller lost phone between Fishtown and the Happy Hour.

Monday, Feb. 20

1:22 a.m. — Glen Arbor — Owner of Art’s noticed a vehicle sitting in front of the restaurant two hours ago that was running. Looked at security camera feed when he got home and noticed it was still there.

9:30 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller was just assaulted. Got smacked in the face. Suspects have black Dodge pickup.

10:22 a.m. — Suttons Bay — Subject received threatening texts over the weekend.

12:20 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Car parked on the side of the road. Driver slumped over the wheel. Caller didn’t stop to check on subject.

Tuesday, Feb. 21

1:44 a.m. — Cleveland Township — Neighbors have an excavating company and have been running heavy equipment for several hours.
