Pancake feast, then breakfast

Another Pancake Breakfast is set for 8-11 a.m. next Saturday, April 29, at the Leelanau Township Fire Hall to benefit the Northport Shipwreck Expedition, a collaboration between Northport School and the Grand Traverse Lighthouse in Leelanau Township.

Help identify folks in photos

Thousands of photos in the Rex Dobson collection have been sorted, but the identities of many in the photos remain a mystery. Help those at the Ruby Ellen Farm on South Center Highway in Bingham Township put a name to those faces at an event set for 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday. Stay for a lunch of homemade soup, bread and butter and dessert. Cost is a freewill donation, with proceeds being used to put a new roof on the farmhouse.
