In celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week, students of the National Honor Society hosted their annual breakfast for Suttons Bay teachers and staff members. The event, which took place on May 2nd, was held in the high school and featured scrumptious pancakes, hash browns, fruit salad, bacon, and scrambled eggs - all prepared and served by the students. Furthermore, each student wrote a note to all of the staff members, thanking them for their continuous support, encouragement, and help.

Since then, NHS students have been working hard to prepare for their 2nd Annual Beautification Day, during which elementary, middle, and high school students help clean up the school grounds by planting flowers, raking leaves, and picking up trash. Last year’s was a great success and the community has shown great support by donating various supplies.
