Prior to those arrests, which were released on Tuesday, the only law enforcement updates provided on Sheriff’s Office activities involved five incidents over the period of June 18-19. The information was provided too late for inclusion in the June 22 edition of the Enterprise.

On those days, according to the Sheriff’s Office:

• A 44-year-old Dallas man was arrested in Elmwood Township for third offense drunk driving;

• A Suttons Bay woman was extricated from her vehicle after she had flipped the car off M-22 near Freeland Road in Leelanau County. She was treated at Munson Medical Center and later charged with drunk driving;

• A Maple City man was arrested on a strangulation charge resulting from a physical altercation and argument with his girlfriend;

• A Traverse City man allegedly misled deputies about his identity during a minor traffic violation stop in Suttons Bay. The man, who was allegedly driving on a suspended license, was arrested for obstruction;

• And a Sheriff’s Office sergeant arrested a 58-year-old Indian River man for second offense drunk driving following a traffic stop on a motorcycle on M-204 near Hoeft Road in Leland Township.
