Rep. VanderWall ready for coffee

State Rep. Curt VanderWall (R-Ludington) will be meeting residents Monday in Leelanau County.

VanderWall, a first-term state legislator, will be available from 9-10 a.m. at the Board of Commissioners room in the Leelanau County Government Center in Suttons Bay Township.

Be social with strawberries

Want to participate in an old-fashioned hymn sing? Love strawberry shortcake? Then limber up your voice and head to the Hymn Sing and Strawberry Social in Greilickville set for 6-8 p.m. Sunday. It’s a free, family centered event sponsored by West Bay Covenant Church, 12720 S. West Bayshore Dr.

Seminar on wills, trusts, cottages

Everything you need to know about wills, trusts and saving the family cottage will be presented at an event being held from 1-2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Bay Theatre in Suttons Bay. Information will be presented by attorney Dan Penning and will include a question-and-answer period.
