The author of a well-received story in the Color Tour directory published last week was mis-identified. She is Kathleen Stocking, not Kathleen Firestone. Both have published books that include stories about Leelanau County.

The Color Tour story was named, “Finding Ancient Shores.” It poetically delved into the geography of Leelanau County through the ice ages.

“I just want credit where credit is due, even if it isn’t me,” wrote Ms. Firestone in reporting the error.

Also, the directory omitted a credit for Grace Dickinson, who took photos of Brad McClellan and Tina Frankengberger for Ms. Stocking’s story named “Wild Rice.” Ms. Dickinson, the daughter of former publishers of the Enterprise, owns and runs Dickinson Photo Gallery overlooking Glen Lake.

We apologize for the error and omission.
