Rentenbach named to regional foundation bd.

RENTENBACH RENTENBACH The Community Foundation recently elected officers and six new directors for the 2017-18 board year. One is a Leelanau County resident.

Appointed was Carolyn “Peachy” Rentenbach of Maple City.

Rentenbach is the former chairman of the Leelanau County Board of Commissioners. She is also a board member of the Northwest Michigan Community Action Agency and Benzie-Leelanau District Health Department’s Board of Health.

She and her husband owned La Becasse in Burdickville.

Also appointed recently were Annie DeVries, Beth Dunckel and Dr. Lou Anna Simon of Grand Traverse County; Mary Peterson of Antrim County; and Linda Moorey Kehr of Benzie County.

The Community Foundation is recognized as a “giving partner,” providing opportunities for donors to give locally to benefit the cause they care about most.

The board of directors is comprised of volunteers from across the region.
