Public Notices For Leelanau County

Michigan law requires local governments to inform their citizenry through public notices published in newspapers of record for their communities. The Empire Village Council at its regular meeting held Sept. 26. adopted Ordinance #150 to regulate and control traffic, overnight camping, parking, domestic animals, noise, and dumping of garbage and rubbish at the Village of Empire’s Lake Michigan Beach Park.

 The Cedar Area Fire & Rescue Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, Oct. 19 at 7pm for the proposed Fire and Rescue Budget General Fund for the operating years ending March 31, 2020

Village Of Empire Public Notice

September 26 2017

This is to inform you that at the regular meeting held September 26, 2017, the Empire Village Council adopted Ordinance #150 an Ordinance to regulate and control traffic, overnight camping, parking, domestic animals, noise, and dumping of garbage and rubbish at the Village of Empire’s Lake Michigan Beach Park to provide for the health, safety, and welfare of residents and guests, and to provide penalties for violations thereof. A complete copy of this Ordinance may be seen and purchased at the Village Office, 11518 S. LaCore during regular business hours or at the Village web site at: www.leelanau.cc/ empirevillage.asp

Public Hearing Notice

The Cedar Area Fire & Rescue Board will hold a public hearing for the proposed Fire and Rescue Budget General Fund for the operating years ending March 31, 2020 at the Cedar Fire Department Meeting Room, 8907 Railroad Avenue, Cedar, MI 49621 on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.

A copy of the budget will be available for public inspection six days prior to the meeting at the Cedar Fire and Rescue, 8907 Railroad Avenue, Cedar, MI

49621 during regular business hours. This notice is given in compliance with PA267 of 1976 as amended (Open Meeting Act), MCLA 141.412 and American Disabilities Act (ADA).
