TO ALL CREDITORS: The decedent, Theresa M. Fortier, who lived at 10021 East Grandview, Traverse City, MI 49684, died August 20, 2017. There is no personal representative of the decedent’s estate to whom Letters of Administration have been issued.

TO ALL CREDITORS/ NOTICE TO CREDITORS: The Grantor/decedent, Julius A. Nelson, who lived at 6045 S.W. Bayshore Dr., Traverse City, MI 49684 died on September 6, 2017. There is no Personal Representative of the Grantor’s Estate to whom Letters of Administration have been issued. Bingham Township Notice Of Adoption

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Bingham Township Board, at their regular meeting on October 16, 2017 at 7:00 PM at the Bingham Township Hall, Traverse City, Michigan, adopted an ordinance. The following is a synopsis:

Ordinance No. 01-161017 (Zoning Ordinance Amendment No. 17-002) An Amendment to the Bingham Township Zoning Ordinance to amend Section 12.4 Bed and Breakfast Inn. This amendment includes an increase in the number of rentable rooms to ten (10), and a general review of all the standards for B&B Inns. This ordinance becomes effective November 3, 2017.

Suttons Bay Village Council Notice

Synopsis of Suttons Bay Village Council Regular meeting of October 16, 2017.

Regular meeting called to order at 5:30 p.m. by President Lutke. Quorum present.

Present: Bahle, Christensen, Egan, Lutke and Suppes Absent: Case and Hylwa

Council approved Gosling Czubak’s proposal dated October 10, 2017, expanding the scope of service to include the south side of the Marina main basin, for Village Marina upgrades, and authorized funding for Proposal Items 1.0 and 2.0, in the amount of $17,900.00.

Council approved the payment of bills as presented by Treasurer DeVol.

The meeting adjourned at 6:03 p.m.

Bingham Township Notice

Synopsis of Bingham Township Regular Board meeting of October 16, 2017. Meeting called to order by Supervisor Werner. Board members present: Midge Werner, Brad Saxton, Gary McGhee, Sandy Grant and Kathy Morio. Agenda approved. The Regular Board meeting minutes of September 18, 2017 and the Special Board meeting minutes of September 29, 2017 were approved. Public comment, discussion and a letter was read, regarding the Junk/Blight policy procedure/ordinance topic. Zoning Ordinance 01-161017 passed, amending article 12 Home Business Uses, section 12.4, Bed and Breakfast Inn. Marie Walker was appointed to the Bingham Township Planning Commission. The Assessors Quarterly Report was accepted and approved. Approved payroll and vendor balance. Meeting adjourned at 7:50pm

Centerville Township Notice To The Public

Synopsis of Regular Bd. Meeting for October 11, 2017. Board members Schwantes, Wurm, Pleva, & Schaub were present. Hubbell was excused. Board members accepted the Leelanau County agreement for Payment in Lieu of Taxes for $925.02. 3 Land Use Permits and no Land Divisions were issued in September. The board supported recommendations for Municipal Civil Infractions for septage violations on French Rd, illegal trailer on Kelenski Rd, & illegal dwelling on Beach Front Drive. The Twp hall upgrade project continues with Andy Rink delivering proposed architect drawings to the board. Interested contractors will be able to bid on the construction beginning November 1st. The next PC meeting will be November 13th, 2017 at 7 p.m. at the Solon Twp Hall. The next regular board meeting is scheduled for Wed., November 8, 2017 at the Centerville Twp Hall at 7 p.m. Draft minutes are available on the Twp. web site at www.leelanau.cc or by request at 228-7663.
