Just a little bit of a change from last year at this time. Last year the weather was great and people were actually swimming in Lake Michigan on Nov. 6. I don’t think we are going to see that this year.

The annual pig roast at Arts Bar on Saturday was cold, soggy, gloomy, and as always a great success. Once again I commend Art’s as a business that gives back to the community. I also hope most people took advantage of the trailer in front of Art’s looking for food and donations, it’s a good cause give freely.

Beginning next week, Nov. 15, I would advise against walking in the forest wearing your leather jacket. I’m sure the deer hunters are doing a snow dance as it is easier to track the deer. My advice to the deer is to duck, and I’m not talking about a bird.
