Aging & Scoring Night slated Dec. 14 in Benzie

Free food, beer and deer-season stories will be among the offerings at the Elmira Township Hall in Benzie County Dec. 14 as the Northwest Michigan Branch of the Quality Deer Management Association holds its fourth annual Aging & Scoring Night.

Andrew Milliron, president of the regional branch, said QDMA staff will be on hand to score deer. The event, which will also feature door prizes, will take place from 6 to 9 p.m.

“It’s a fun evening,” said Milliron, who lives in Maple City. “You’re around a lot of other hunters and talkin’ deer.”
