Night to remember in Glen Arbor

The Glen Arbor Art Association Readers’ Theater will present “Remember The Night” Friday and Saturday, Dec. 8 and 9.

“Remember The Night” is a heartwarming Christmas-time show that skillfully blends touching drama and comedy.

Moved to pity by the Christmas season, New York District Attorney John Sargent lets pretty shoplifter Lee Leader out on bail and offers her a ride home to Indiana.

They end up meeting each others’ parent, and then Cupid becomes judge and jury.

The 1940s film version was written by playwright Preston Sturges and starred Fred MacMurray and Barbara Stanwyck.

Glen Lake Community Reformed Church is the venue for the show, scheduled for 7:30 both nights.

Reservations are not required, but are encouraged, and can be made by emailing gaaareaderstheater@gmail.com

There is no charge.
