Little Glen Lake news with glaring birthday exemption

The weather changed this week as we knew it would. It still hasn’t been bad, so enjoy it while we can. I personally would rather have snow than gloom and rain and cold, but we will see.

This is the season of holiday parties. Or if I may be so bold, Christmas parties. People are on the road at all times so please be careful. We want everyone to be able to enjoy the holidays.

Not much going on this time a year except shopping and there is a lot of that going on. Try to shop as locally as possible, I know there are but a few stores to pick from in our area that are open, but give it a shot.

Condolences to the family and friends of Marjorie Niess.

On Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Glen Lake Community Reformed Church, the Readers Theater will offer “Remember The Night.” There’s no charge, but a freewill offering will be taken.

A reminder that the Glen Arbor Art Association is open 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. For more information call 231/334-6112.
