8:28 p.m. — Bingham Township — Two vehicles accident, one went over embankment.

Thursday, Dec. 14

6:07 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Vehicle in ditch on the west side of the road. Caller believes it’s occupied.

7:17 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Suspicious car at boat launch. Subject said he dropped off his wife off at work and is waiting to go to work himself.

3:03 p.m. Leland Township — Tan Chevy parked on the southbound lane of the road facing north. Partially blocking in the travel lane.

5:28 p.m. — Solon Township — Deputy called out with a plow truck that lost its tire.

7:47 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — State trooper out with vehicle with hazards on.

Friday, Dec. 15

6:38 a.m. — Leelanau Township — 911 call received. Caller confused. Emergency crew staff to check on subject.

7:44 a.m. — Solon Township — Chevy Silverado is passing vehicles in a reckless manner. Almost went head-on with oncoming traffic.

8:09 a.m. — Solon Township — Neighbor is piling hay bales along the easement for caller’s property and is limited caller’s ability to plow. Concerned that the fire department won’t be able to access should there be an incident.

8:28 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Deer with broken leg. Caller would like it rescued if possible.

9:09 a.m. — Bingham Township — Silver passenger car in snowbank.

10 a.m. — Bingham Township — Trailer came off semi, blocking entire roadway.

1:09 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Tribal officer out with vehicle in the ditch while someone it trying to pull them out. Road Commission notified about icy patch.

3:01 p.m. — Kasson Township — Deputy out with a boy who needed assistance getting home after he went too far on his jog.

3:02 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — White, 2-door Ford Explorer driving southbound all over the road. Heavy snow on vehicle.

5:07 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Alarm went off. Resident burned popcorn.

5:08 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Passerby saw a vehicle wipe out. Does not know if there are injuries.

5:38 p.m. — Suttons Bay — A box of old male fell off a woman’s vehicle. Subject will hold onto it if someone calls to claim it.

Saturday, Dec. 16

11:24 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Food is burning again (it was popcorn yesterday). This time overflowing food in the oven. Alarm has been reset.

4:28 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller sees a couple of vehicle of vehicle parked at the turnoff. There’s a U-Haul, maroon van and a truck with flashing lights.

Sunday, Dec. 17

10:40 a.m. — Centerville Township — Breaking and entering.

12:31 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Vehicle went into ditch and hit a street sign.

6:37 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Male lying on the side of the road.

10:58 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Car driving southbound in the northbound lane on M-22 approaching the light at M-72. It turned west on M-72.

Monday, Dec. 18

9:10 a.m. — Solon Township — Motor vehicle crash with injuries.

3:53 p.m. — Solon Township — Caller missing a red bone coon hound. No collar. Dog and owner were later reunited.

4:49 p.m. — Centerville Township — Single-car rollover accident. Caller advised there was a male and female and they were fine.

Tuesday, Dec. 19

12:28 a.m. — Bingham Township — Vehicle slid into ditch. Unable to get out due to snow.

4:56 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller reports a Jeep in the ditch. No one around.
