10:51 a.m. — Kasson Township — Juvenile refusing to get into car to go to school.

3:13 p.m. — Leland Township — Strange dog got into fenced-in yard. Now trapped. Medium size, long white hair, long furry tail, black and brown face. Snarls at caller.

5:55 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller reports an unattended fire at construction site. On arrival fire department found the fire was contained inside a burn barrel and was nearly out. Did not constitute a fire emergency.

Thursday, Dec. 21

11:45 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller say a female driving a small, burgundy passenger vehicle with a dog on a leash out the window. Traveling 25 to 30 mph.

1:41 p.m. — Solon Township — Caller re[reports a southbound vehicle swerved into her lane, forcing the car off the roadway. Blue Ford pickup.

2:29 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — White and brown beagle running on M-22 north of the casino.

2:47 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller found knife while walking dog on Cemetery Road.

3:10 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Threats.

4:28 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Vehicle pulled out in front of caller . Passed other vehicle at a high rate of speed. Caller thinks driver may be drunk.

8:19 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller was at recycling site when he heard an audible alarm coming from the cell phone tower. A panel is open and the electronics are exposed. Tower company contacted.

11:25 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Vehicle in the ditch near Belanger Creek Dr.

Friday, Dec. 22

6:47 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Vehicle repossessed.

2:06 p.m. — Cleveland Township — National Park Service reporting a blue Ford parked near Good Harbor Trailhead.

3:40 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — National Park Service called out over the radio with a vehicle that just drove down the heritage trail. *It was a park volunteer.

10:19 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Lost German Shorthair Pointer with Chicago Cubs collar. Friendly, but skittish due to having seizures. Gone for about four hours.

Saturday, Dec. 23

2:15 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Cherry Bend Road and Sylvia, operating while intoxicated.

8:40 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Vehicle slid off roadway and hit tree.

10:31 a.m. — Kasson Township — Two standard poodles lost. Wearing collars with tags on them.

12:11 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Snowmobiles trespassing on caller’s property.

3:27 p.m. — Solon Township — Someone parked gray truck across the street in front of neighbor’s pole barn.

6:03 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Chicken coop on fire next to house. *Fire extinguished. No damage to house. No chickens lost.

10:59 p.m. — Empire Township — Suspicious vehicle parked at the intersection of W. Gilbert Farm Lane and S. Gilbert Road. Has been there approximately 30 minutes with lights on. *Vehicle left before deputy dispatched.

11:20 p.m. — Bingham Township — Deputy checking on vehicle on S. Center Hwy. and Whittaker.  Was cross-country skiers.

Sunday, Dec. 24

7:40 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Family trouble.

9:44 p.m. — Bingham Township — Vehicle in the ditch at M-22 and Hilltop Road.

9:51 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Assault and battery.

11:03 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Red car off the road in the ditch on M-22 west of S. Lime Lake Rd.

11:50 p.m. —Bingham Township — Open line. Dispatch can detect movement and talking in the background. *All set. Subject received an IphoneX for Christmas and doesn’t know how to use it yet.

Monday, Dec. 25

1:36 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Disorderly person.

2:32 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller’s snowmobile is on fire behind his house.

2:48 p.m. — Bingham Township — Dark green or gray pickup with capper all over the road. Crossing into the oncoming land. Northbound on M-22.

2:58 p.m. — Solon Township — Vehicle in the ditch.

5:46 p.m. — Centerville Township — Suspicious vehicle.

8:41 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Vehicle stuck on snowdrift on the Glen Lake Narrows bridge.

10:58 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Vehicle in ditch. Can’t tell what kind of vehicle. Crowd of people standing around. Been there approximately 20 minutes.
