4:39 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller reporting something large and metal in the roadway. Too large for caller to move.

12:31 p.m. — Bingham Township — Red GMC towed from the business. Had been there since Saturday and it had not been removed.

1:47 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Two dogs chained up all the time. Caller wants them checked on.

7:39 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller’s 17-year-old son is missing. Last seen on the Leelanau Trail crosscountry skiing. (Son found. Had gone to another location.)

Thursday, Jan. 4

5:48 a.m. — Leland Township — Deputy out with multiple vehicles that were in the ditch but are now in the roadway.

6:32 a.m. — Bingham Township — Jeep in the ditch just south of Veronica Bally. They were trying get out. No damage to vehicle.

1 p.m. — Cleveland Township — White 4-wheel drive Jeep in the ditch.

1:46 p.m. — Bingham Township — Fraud.

2:43 p.m. — Centerville Township — Caller concern about horses laying on the ground. (Animal control observed horses. They were showing normal behavior.)

3:38 p.m. — Suttons Bay — Snowmobile parked at business since Sunday. Caller would like owner to move it. Doesn’t want to cause hardship by having it towed.

5:07 p.m. — Kasson Township — Gray Honda CRV in the ditch. Subject already called a tow truck.

5:46 p.m. — Bingham Township — Silver Pacifica all over the road.

10:33 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Family trouble.

Friday, Jan. 5

11:16 a.m. — Kasson Township — Red Ford Excursion in the ditch.

11:58 a.m. — Leland Township — Vehicle in ditch. May have struck a pole.

1:09 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Two small Chihuahua dogs coming into caller’s yard again.

1:15 p.m. — Solon Township — Black Jeep Liberty in the ditch.

2:58 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Gray Dodge pickup all over the road. Driving down center of the road. Pulled into handicapped spot at store.

3:41 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Chevy Tahoe northbound driving extremely fast for conditions.

4:11 p.m. — Kasson Township — Two horses appear to be in distress with the cold conditions and possible lack of food, water and shelter.

Saturday, Jan. 6

2:05 a.m. — Solon Township — Vehicle far off the road. Unoccupied. Front end damage possibly hit a post or mailbox.

11:44 a.m. — Kasson Township — Deputy out with “buried” vehicle.

11:57 a.m. — Kasson Township— Deputy called out with a vehicle off the roadway.

12:03 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Gray GMC Terrain in the ditch.

2:53 p.m. — Centerville Township — Snowmobilers going up and down hill where caller has newly planted trees. Doesn’t have property posted. Happening right now but probably won’t be there for long.

6:21 p.m. — Centerville Township — One-car rollover.

11:20 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Gray Great Dane “Ellie” is missing. Wearing pink collar with tags.

Sunday, Jan. 7

9:28 a.m. — Centerville Township — Three dogs southbound on Co. Rd. 651. Two goldens and one pit-mix.

11:58 a.m. — Centerville Township — Red Chevy Silverado with plow is running with no one in the vehicle.

1:26 p.m. — Lake Leelanau — Snowmobilers on Meinrad St. going 40 to 50 mph.

3:21 p.m. — Cleveland Township — State trooper came across a vehicle stuck along M-22 due to drifting. Road Commission notified.

5:12 p.m. — Centerville Township — Car in ditch. Caller contacted insurance company for a tow but is concerned about his location causing a hazard.

Monday, Jan. 8

6:14 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Vehicle in ditch. Unoccupied and running with lights on. (Arrest made for operating while intoxicated.)

1:22 p.m. — Solon Township — Caller lost control due to “deteriorating conditions” and went into the ditch. No damage. Called his own wrecker.

1:45 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller is having problems with feral cats in her garage. Says she does not feed them. Animal control officer will call with advice.

1:50 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Nissan Maxima completely off the road and into snowbank. No damage.

5:11 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Neighbor trouble.

5:18 p.m. — Bingham Township — Semi all over the road. White and green letters.

7:07 p.m. — Bingham Township — Red pickup truck with plow northbound on Co. Rd. 614. No tail or brake lights.

8:13 p.m. — Kasson Township — Deputy out checking on a vehicle parked at Gabe’s near M-72 with lights on.
