Michigan law requires local governments to inform their citizenry through public notices published in newspapers of record for their communities.  Northport Village Council will hold a Budget Hearing (General Appropriations Act) at 7:00 pm on Feb. 1.

 A special meeting of the Northport Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) will be held on Feb. 1 at 7:00 p.m. To discuss Mr. Michael Chetcuti selling vehicles on the property.

 Centerville Township Zoning Board Of Appeals public hearing for

Jan. 26 2:30 p.m. Dan Matthies respectfully requests that the Zoning Board of Appeals members overturn an approval of a 128 foot WIFI tower.

 Elmwood Township Board will take public comment on a proposed Community Park, Recreation, Open Space, & Greenways Plan 2018 on Feb. 12 at 6:00 pm

Northport Village Notice to the Public

Proposed Budget/Tax Hearing

The Northport Village Council will hold a Budget Hearing (General Appropriations Act) at 7:00 PM on Thursday, February 1, 2018, at the Northport Village Office, 116 W. Nagonaba St., Northport, MI.

The annual renewal for the Property Tax Millage rate of 8.5 Mills to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing.

Copies of the Budget are available for public inspection at the Village Office, 116 W. Nagonaba St., Northport, MI.

Northport Village Notice To Public

Notice to public with property within 300 feet of the property (ID. #042-234- 017-06) owned by Mr. Michael Chetcuti:

A special meeting of the Northport Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the Village Hall, 116 West Nagonaba Street at 7:00 p.m. preceding the monthly Village Council meeting. The purpose of the hearing is to consider a request from Michael Chetcuti for a variance from Village Zoning D-1 Development, sec. 16.02 to allow Mr. Chetcuti to sell vehicles from his personal storage collection inside his facility only. Approval by the village is necessary for Mr. Chetcuti to receive a license to sell these vehicles.

Centerville Township Zoning Board Of Appeals Notice To The Public

Dan Matthies respectfully requests that the Zoning Board of Appeals members overturn an approval granted by the Centerville Township Planning Commission allowing a 128 foot WIFI tower to be placed on property located at Tax ID # 45-002-004-002-00, 2020 S. French Road, Lake Leelanau, MI 49653, Section 4, T29N R12W 104 Acres. The project was approved per Section 4.20 Towers, of the Centerville Township Zoning Ordinance. The property is located in the Agricultural (AG) zoning district.

Notice is hereby given that the Elmwood Township Board will take public comment on a proposed Community Park, Recreation, Open Space, & Greenways Plan 2018.
