Resident since: Since I was born here in 1974.

Age and birthplace: I am 44 and I was at the old hospital up in Northport.

Occupation: Kitchen management at Boone’s Prime Time Pub

Marital status: Single

You live in Leelanau County because: It’s where my parents grew up. I know all the people here and have never had a good reason to leave.

Last good movie you saw: "Despicable Me 3". I’ve always been a fan of all the movies; they’re my favorite.

Last good book you read: I think the most recent one was “The Very Hungry Caterpillar.” I read it to my 8-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son.

If you could trade places with one person for one day, it would be: Evel Knievel because sometimes I just want to be reckless.

Things important to you that you’ve accomplished so far: Becoming a father is by far my favorite accomplishment.

What you hope to be doing in ten years: I would love to go to the Sturgis motorcycle rally in South Dakota, but I plan on still living in Leelanau County.

Things you lose sleep over: Nothing .

If you could change one thing in Leelanau County it would be: Nothing. I appreciate that it’s very quiet year-round; I just hope it never gets to be like Traverse City.

Favorite dessert: The Key Lime Pie that we make at Boone’s during the summer.

Are you a coffee drinker? Absolutely, with lots of flavored creamer and extra strong.

Favorite place in Leelanau County: My backyard. Last year we put a huge trampoline out there and I love being on it with my kids.

If you had more time you would: I’d spend all my time playing with my kids, Lillian and Robert.

The words that best describe you are: Good-humored, honest, a good cook, and an awesome dad.
