Schneiderman & Sherman, P.C., is attempting to collect a debt, any information obtained will be used for that purpose. MORTGAGE SALE –Michael J. Thomas and Patricia A. Thomas, Husband and Wife, granted a mortgage to Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc. The redemption period shall be 6 months from the date of such sale, unless abandoned under MCL 600.3241, in which case the redemption period shall be 1 month, or under MCL 600.3241a 30 days from the date of such sale, or 15 days from the MCL 600.3241a(b) notice, whichever is later, or extinguished pursuant to MCL 600.3238. Northport Village Notice of Public Hearing

The Village of Northport Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the proposed Village of Northport Master Plan at their regular meeting on February 20, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Village Office located at 116 W. Nagonaba Street, Northport, Michigan. The proposed plan is available for review on the web at www.nwm.org/ northportmasterplan, and at the Village offices at 116 W. Nagonaba St., Northport, Michigan. Solon Township Board Notice

Meeting Minutes Synopsis For 01/11/2018

Supervisor Lautner opened the regular meeting at 7:00 pm. with the Pledge of Allegiance and a moment of silence.

All Board members were present.

Eleven guests were present.

The following actions were taken by the Board:

Approved the agenda with additions.

Approved the regular meeting minutes from 12/07/2017 as written.

Approved the Treasurer’s report and payment of vouchers.

Approved to pay the $134.00 to Team Bob’s for the Boiler Service Agreement.

Approved to have Clerk/Shirley Mikowski contact Township Attorney David Bieganowski to set up a 501C3.

Approved to appoint Andrew Romzek to the Planning Commission to complete the term ending 12/31/2018.

Adopted Resolution No. 2018-01-11 authorizing the Solon Township Clerk on behalf of Solon Township to submit a Grant Application to the Michigan Secretary of State for grant funding for the purchase of a new voting system.

Glen Arbor Township Board Regular Meeting

December 19, 2017 Minutes Synopsis

Township Supervisor, Peter Van Nort, called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM in the Glen Arbor Town Hall meeting room. All board members were present. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. The agenda was presented with additions and modifications and approved. The minutes of the 11/21/2017 Regular Meeting were approved as presented. Public Comments: Bill Merserve, Glen Lake Association – Watershed Protection Plan. All 3 townships, Empire, Kasson, and Glen Arbor have committed to donations for a total of $8,500. The Glen Lake Association has been working with a device called a 2PCR, which is a DNA counter. Michelle Aucello, Day Forest Road – she is in favor of a new ice skating rink. She wondered if the rink, that is being considered, will have coils in it. The Treasurer reported 12/19/17 cash on hand - $2,207,637.38. The Park Construction Fund is $647,611.55. General Fund: Expenses $31,842.95, Payroll $15,980.99. Emergency Services: Expenses $42,679.00, Payroll $73,718.55. Both General Fund payroll and expenses and Emergency Services payroll and expenses were approved to be paid by motion. All expenses and financial statements have been reviewed and approved by ESAC. Emergency Services Advisory Commission Report: Bill Witler. Fire Chief Operations Report: Chief Dodson - Aaron Brown is being promoted to Lieutenant. Nate Purdue is the new Safety Officer.The Zoning Administrators Report: submitted in writing. The Monthly Assessors Report: submitted in writing. The correspondence was reviewed and accepted as presented. Unfinished business: Glen Arbor Park Construction Status Report – Rick Schanhals. LED Sign – the sign was approved for purchase next year with a limit of $26,000. New Business: Michigan Mutual Aid Box Alarm System Association, budget amendments, replacement of the copy machine in the township. Planning Commission Report: John Peppler – Review of the current zoning ordinances has begun. Public Comments: None. Board Member Comments: There was a question by Lewis regarding an e-mail sent to multiple people within the county. Supervisor Comments: The Supervisor attended a MTA policy seminar. Leland Township Board Meeting

January 22, 2018—5:50 p.m. Leland Township Office, 123 N St. Joseph St., Lake Leelanau

The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Susan Och, with Clerk Jane Keen, Treasurer Shirley Garthe and Trustee Michael Collins, and 3 guests present. The agenda was approved. The following board action was taken:

Motion carried to adopt Resolution R-18-06 to authorize the Leland Township Clerk to submit a grant application on behalf of Leland Township to the Secretary of State for a grant to purchase new voting equipment.

Board comment and public comment were heard. The meeting was adjourned at 5:53 p.m. Minutes are on file at the Leland Township Office, 123 N. St. Joseph St., Lake Leelanau, and on the township Web site at www.leelanau.cc/ lelandtwp.asp.

Suttons Bay Township Notice

Synopsis of January 10, 2018 Board Meeting Minutes

The Suttons Bay Township Board held its regular meeting on January 10, 2018.

Present: Supervisor Bahle, Clerk VanHuystee, Treasurer Hartsveldt, Trustees Nixon and Slocombe

Reports received - Treasurer, Planning and Zoning, and Parks and Recreation. Previous meeting minutes were approved and authorization was received to pay the bills.

Presentation made by Invasive Species Network; approved Permit to use the ice rink; approved Leland School District Agreement to collect summer taxes; adopted a Resolution authorizing the Clerk to enter into agreement with State of Michigan to obtain new election equipment and related software. Approved sending two trustees to the MTA Annual Education Conference in April 2018.

2018 Meeting Notice

The Leelanau County Board of Public Works will hold regular quarterly meetings on the following dates:

*This meeting to be held in Conference Room# 1

All meetings will be held in the Commissioners Meeting Room, unless otherwise indicated, at the Leelanau County Government Center, 8527 E. Government Center Dr., Suttons Bay, Michigan.
