Kasson Township Planning Commission Notice of Public Hearing

The Kasson Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on April 16, 2018 starting at 7:00 p.m., in the Kasson Township Hall, 10988 S Newman Rd, Maple City.

The purpose of the hearing will be to consider the modification of an existing Special Use Permit for Earth Removal, Gravel Processing, and Mining Operations, by adding 39 acres to the previously approved mining area.

Specifically, an Application for Renewal has been submitted by Elmer’s Real Estate Company for the parcels.

045-007-020-001-00, 045-007-020- 001-20, 045-007-020-006-20, 45-007- 020-008-00, commonly referred to as 2272 W Empire Highway, Maple City, MI.

Leland Township Board Special Meeting

March 24, 2018 - 12:29 p.m.

Leelanau Community Cultural Center, 111 S. Main Street, Leland, MI

The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Susan Och, with Clerk Jane Keen, Treasurer Shirley Garthe, and Trustee Michael Collins, and 3 guests present. The agenda was approved. The following board actions were taken:

 Adoption of Leland Township General Appropriations Act 2018-19

 Budget adjustments were approved

 Leland Township Board meeting dates for 2018-19 fiscal year were approved

Board comment and public comment were heard. The meeting was adjourned at 12:38 p.m. Minutes are on file at the Leland Township Office, 123 N. St. Joseph St., Lake Leelanau, and on the township Web site at www.leelanau.cc/ lelandtwp.asp.
