 Solon Township Board has scheduled a public hearing for Thurs., May 17, at 7:30 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to receive public comment on a request for a 32 Unit Site Condominium by S. C. Flaska Properties, LLC.

The Solon Township Board regular meeting scheduled for Thursday, May 3, 2018 has been changed to Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. to be held at the Solon Township Hall, 9191 S. Kasson St., Cedar, MI 49621.

This is a notice that the Settlor of The Viola Eitniear Trust Agreement, Dated June 23, 2014, has died. Viola Virginia Eitniear, DOB 10/20/1929, who lived at 9340 E. Grandview Road, Traverse City, MI 49684, died 3/2/2018.

Creditors of the decedent are notified that all claims against The Viola Eitniear Trust Agreement, Dated June 23, 2014, will be forever banned unless presented to Jack C. Eitniear, Trustee, at 218 Conway Drive, San Antonio TX 78209 within four months after the date of this publication.

After that date, the Trust will be distributed to the trust beneficiaries.

Cleveland Township Board Proceedings

The following is a synopsis of the April 10, 2018, meeting of the Cleveland Township board. The complete minutes are available from the Township Clerk. Clerk Stein called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. All members were present as well as three guests.

Agenda was approved as presented.

Approved minutes of the March 13, 2018 meeting.

Received Treasurer’s report and approved payment of bills.

Received Planning Commission, and Zoning Board of Appeals’ reports.

The board adopted the 2018/19 Budget as presented at the March 24, 2018 annual meeting.

The board approved the reappointment of John DePuy as member-at-large to the Cedar Area Fire and Rescue Board.

The board approved the appointment of Nello Valentine III to a 4-year term on the Planning Commission.

The board approved updating the Fee Schedule and the Land Use Permit Application.

Public comment was held. The meeting was adjourned at 7:26 p.m.

The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Susan Och, with Clerk Jane Keen, Treasurer Shirley Garthe, Trustees Michael Collins and Tony Borden; and 27 guests present. The agenda was approved. Minutes of previous meetings were approved. The Treasurer’s Report was approved. The following board actions were taken:

 Approved Annual BarBcruise Facilities Use Agreement for August 4, 2018 fundraiser

 Approved Leland Township Cemetery Sexton Job Description

 Approved Resignation of Clerk Jane Keen, effective May 1, 2018

 Approved Hiring of Clerk Lisa Brookfield, effective May 1, 2018 to complete her term until 2020

 Approved payment of bills

Public Hearing

The Solon Township Board has scheduled a public hearing for Thursday, May 17, 2018, at 7:30 p.m. in the Solon Township Hall meeting room, 9191 S. Kasson St., Cedar, MI to receive public comment on a request for a 32 Unit Site Condominium by S. C. Flaska Properties, LLC. The proposed Site Condominium includes 11 detached single family dwellings and 21 attached dwelling units. The parcel is located on E. Bellinger Road and S. Kasson Street, Section 7, T28N R12W. The property tax ID # is 010-007-001-00. The Township Board respectfully requests your questions, input, opinions or concerns relating to this request.
