7:49 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Fraud.

9:44 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Malicious destruction of property.

10:16 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Threats.

12:52 p.m. — Bingham Township — Fraud.

3:20 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Larceny.

3:55 p.m. — Leland Township — Hit-and-run vehicle accident.

5:23 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Dog at-large. Ongoing problem.

Thursday, April 19

5:52 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Suspicious vehicle.

10:44 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Ongoing issues with dogs. Brown chihuahua and bigger brown dog running around caller’s yard. Dog is aggressive toward guest in house. Ran into the woods.

11 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Green Ford Explorer swerving all over roadway.

2:03 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller’s GMC Yukon broke down in the middle of the intersection.

2:56 p.m. — Suttons Bay — Car was hit and damaged while caller was shopping.

2:57 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Vehicle in the ditch.

7:25 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Dogs running through the neighborhood.

8:42 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Vehicle has been parked along the roadway for several days. Not a road hazard. (Traverse City Police Department made contact with owner. She will move it tomorrow.)

Friday, April 20

2:19 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township— Miscellaneous juvenile activity.

6:44 p.m. — Bingham Township — Caller has a raccoon in her yard that is acting strangely. It ate some bird food but its having trouble moving around. Not aggressive. It just wandered off.

8:06 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Subject is laying on back in the snow. Get got up and is now walking up the hill. Law enforcement found everything was fine. Subject was just “sunning” herself.

8:49 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Car off the side of the road. Cannot get up hill.

10 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Man standing near the trail crossing on Co. Rd. 641 north of Fouch Road.

Saturday, April 21

9:53 a.m. — Centerville Township — Caller is holding a small black Lab mixed with Great Dane. (Owner came and got the dogs.)

10:32 a.m. — Kasson Township — Black Lab mix, medium size. Gone for 20 to 30 minutes. Has collar with tags (Caller called back and has found her dog.)

Sunday, April 22

2:56 a.m. — Centerville Township — Red pole barn/house on fire.

3:11 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Golf SUV all over the roadway. Crossing both center and fog lines, tailgating other drivers. (Deputy followed vehicle for miles. No violations observed.)

5:40 p.m. — Kasson Township — Caller has heard gunshots for about an hour. Concerned. (Caller given information on legal target practice in Leelanau County. She wants her phone call documented in case she calls in the future.)

9:10 p.m. — Empire Township — Group of 20 to 25 people having a bonfire on the beach. More people showing up as caller was leaving. (Everything found to be OK.)

Monday, April 23

8:55 a.m. — Leelanau Township — White Suburban with a black door pulled into caller’s driveway when caller was gone.

9:53 a.m. — Empire Township — Motor vehicle crash with injuries.

2:47 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Suspicious incident.

5:55 p.m. — Kasson Township — Suspicious incident.

7:13 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Fawn laying on the water side of the road near driveway for a few hours. In a wooded area. Legs look detached. Caller already called the DNR and they wouldn’t respond.

8:47 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Caller struck a deer with a Dodge Ram pickup. There was no damage. However, deer is still alive on the side of the road and needs dispatching. (Deputy unable to find the wounded deer.)

9:30 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Deer dead in the northbound lane and is blocking traffic. Deer moved off the road. Road commission notified.
