Bring mixture to boil over medium heat, whisking until sugar dissolves. Combine 1 cup milk, eggs and yolks in medium bowl. Whisk until smooth. When the cream mixture boils, remove from heat and whisk one cup of cream mixture into egg mixture to temper. Pour egg mixture into large pot, whisking continuously. Whisk one cup egg/cream mixture into bowl of melted chocolate. Add melted chocolate to large pot, whisking continuously. Add vanilla extract. Add brioche to pot and stir well. Let stand for 30 minutes so brioche can absorb liquid. Pour entire mixture into buttered pan. Add bittersweet and milk chocolate pieces on top. Bake until set, 45 to 55 minutes.
