Mid-week Fourth of July slows revelry

The Fourth of July was, as usual, very very busy. The Glen Lake area was overrun with people. However I’ve been told by many that they didn’t think it was as busy as many of the previous holidays. And I’ve also been told that the parade — although outstanding as usual — was not as long as normal. I feel that possibly the weather had something to do with it and that the Fourth of July was in the middle of the week may have had some bearing on how many people were here, etc.

All in all I felt it was a very successful Fourth of July in the area and I think everyone had a great time.
