The Leelanau Montessori Public School Academy (LMPSA) is seeking construction bid proposals for remodeling of a structure located at:

2401 E. Duck Lake Road, Lake Leelanau, Michigan 49653

(Building currently known as the Benzie-Leelanau District Health Department Building)

The form of construction will be of construction management type. Consideration will be given to contractors bidding two or more categories.

Bingham Township Notice Of Public Hearing

Please take notice that the Bingham Township Planning Commission will hold five Public Hearings on Thursday August 2, 2018 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Bingham Schoolhouse, 7171 S. Center Highway, Traverse City, MI, to consider the following:

1. An Amendment to the Bingham Township Zoning Ordinance to update certain agri-tourism standards in the Agricultural and Rural Residential Districts. The amendment will bring the standards for different uses into alignment with each other.

2. An Amendment to the Bingham Township Zoning Ordinance to amend various sections throughout the Ordinance for clarification. This amendment is considered housekeeping and all changes are minor in nature.

3. An Amendment to the Bingham Township Zoning Ordinance to amend sections of the Agricultural, Rural Residential, and Special Land Use Permits articles. The amendment will clarify the standards for obtaining a special land use permit.

4. An Amendment to the Bingham Township Zoning Ordinance to amend Section 3.13 – Signs. This is a complete overhaul of the sign ordinance requirements.
