Michigan law requires local governments to inform their citizenry through public notices published in newspapers of record for their communities.  The Suttons Bay Township Planning Commission will conduct a Public Hearing and consider the following request on Sept. 4 at 6:00 p.m. Request by Frank & Micheline Padella for Final Approval of a Special Land Use Permit for an Open-Space Residential Development / Site Condominium consisting of 14 lots.

 Bingham Township will hold a Public Hearing to discuss amending Bingham Township Parking Ordinance 01-092115 regarding off street parking on the northeast, northwest and southwest side of County Road 641.

 The Annual Meeting of the Leelanau Historical Society will take place on August 15th at 4pm in the Society’s Norbert Gits Family Gallery.

Default has been made in the conditions of a mortgage made by Andrew LaPointe and Tammie LaPointe, husband and wife, to First Community Bank, Mortgagee, dated October 4, 2002 and recorded October 14, 2002 in Liber 673, Page 899 Leelanau County Records, Michigan. Said mortgage is now held by U.S. Bank National Association, by assignment. The redemption period shall be 6 months from the date of such sale, unless determined abandoned in accordance with MCLA §600.3241a, in which case the redemption period shall be 30 days from the date of such sale.

Bingham Township Public Hearing Notice

A Public Hearing will be held to discuss amending Bingham Township Parking Ordinance 01-092115 regarding off street parking on the northeast, northwest and southwest side of County Road 641 at the Bingham Road intersection. This Public Hearing will be held at the Bingham Township Hall, 7171 S. Center Highway, Traverse City, MI 49684.

The Board and Staff will speak about this year’s accomplishments, projects and exhibits planned for 2019, and announce the Volunteer of the Year award. In addition the annual budget will be reviewed and voted upon, and officers will be elected.
