and Election of Directors
Leelanau Conservation District
To all residents of the Leelanau
Conservation District, notice is hereby
given that on Thursday, November 1,
2018, between the hours of 4:00 pm
and 7:00 pm, an Annual Meeting and
Director’s Election will be held at the
Community Meeting Room, on the
lower level of the Leelanau County
Government Center. On the 17th day of
September, 2018, being forty-five (45)
days prior to the date of the annual
meeting, absentee ballots will be available for voting in this election by writing
to or calling the Conservation District
Office located at 8527 E. Government
Center Dr., Suttons Bay, Michigan,
49682, phone 231-256-9783, during
regular business hours of the District
which are between the hours of 8:00
am.-4:30 pm. Monday through Friday.
Voting will also take place at the Annual
Director Candidates for 2 four (4)
year terms are:

Scott Collins
To vote in the election you must be a
resident of the District (Leelanau
County), be of legal voting age and
demonstrate residency in the District via
one (1) piece of identification.

Suttons Bay Township Notice Of Public Hearings

The Suttons Bay Township Planning Commission will conduct Public Hearings and consider the following requests on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at the Suttons Bay Township Offices, 95 W. Fourth Street (Hansen’s Plaza), Suttons Bay, MI 49682:

1. Request by Richard & Michelle Baldwin for a Special Land Use Permit for a 16-unit Multi-Family Residential Development at 1054 S. Herman Road, Suttons Bay, MI 49682. Property Number 45-011-032-005-00.

2. Request by Jan Serig and Ian Plamondon to amend the Suttons Bay Township Zoning Ordinance to rezone parcels at 1187 S. Celtic Lane (45-011- 035-001-20) and the vacant parcel north of 1187 S.
