Public Notices For Leelanau County

Michigan law requires local governments to inform their citizenry through public notices published in newspapers of record for their communities. These notices provide residents with an easy path for following the work of their elected officials. Public notices for Leelanau County can also be accessed online at Leelanaunews.com.

Notices that can be found in Section Three of this week’s Leelanau Enterprise include:

 Centerville Township Planning Commission Public Hearing Nov. 26 6:30 p.m. Cherry Capital Communications requests approval for a 128 foot WIFI tower.

 At 1:00 p.m. on Dec. 11 the Suttons Bay Township Board of Review will meet at the Township Offices at #95 W Fourth St in Suttons Bay to address Mutual Mistakes and Clerical Errors.

Public Notice

The Leelanau County Government Center will be closed on Monday, November 12, 2018, in observance of Veterans’ Day.

As approved by the Leelanau County Board of Commissioners and as approved in the Leelanau County Personnel Policy Manual and the Teamster’s Local #214 union contract, Veterans’ Day is a holiday and shall be observed.

In addition, whenever a holiday falls on a Saturday, the Friday before shall be observed and whenever a holiday falls on a Sunday, the Monday after shall be observed.

Centerville Township Planning Commission Notice To The Public

Cherry Capital Communications requests approval for a 128 foot WIFI tower, in conformance with Zoning Ordinance Section 4.20. The tower would be placed on property located at Tax ID # 45-002-004-002-00, 2020 S. French Road, Lake Leelanau, MI 49653, Section 4, T29N R12W 104 Acres. The property is located in the Agricultural (AG) zoning district.
