Elden L. Bunn
1938-2011
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Grand Rapids for former resident Elden L. Bunn who died Sept. 25 at Heather Hills Care Center in Grand Rapids.
He was 73.
Born April 10, 1938 in Mount Pleasant, Elden graduated from Traverse City Central High School in 1956 and on June 7, 1958 married Alice Sabuda at St. Rita Catholic Church in Maple City.
The couple relocated to the Grand Rapids area but returned to the county every summer.
Elden was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Brian.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Beverly Ashley of Wyoming, Mich., Sherry Russell of Bluffdale, Texas, James (Lachell) Bunn of Kentwood, Mich., Jennifer Bunn, who serves in the U.S. Army and Robert Bunn of Orlando, Fla.; a brother Marvin (Joan) Bunn, sister Clarine Olson; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the Arsulowicz Brothers West Mortuary, 585 Stocking NW, Grand Rapids. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service.
