Roland L. Lautner
1940-2011
Memorial services were held Monday at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home in Traverse City for Roland Levi “Ron” Lautner of Cedar who died June 7 at his home. He was 70.
Born on July 8, 1940 on the family farm near Cedar, he was the son of the late Alvin and Arlene (Bohrer) Lautner.
Described as a very quiet and unassuming man, he enjoyed a 40 year career with Munson Medical Center, working in the maintenance department.
He is survived by his siblings, Harold (Frances) Lautner of Cedar and Maxine (Willie) Neilson of Texas, along with many nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Larry Lee Lautner.
His cremated remains were to be buried at Oakwood Cemetery next to his parents. Memorial donations may be directed to the Cedar Fire and Rescue squad.
