Board of Appeals
The Leelanau County Construction Board of Appeals will be conducting a meeting at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, August 7, 2023, in the Commissioner Meeting Room of the Leelanau County Government Center, 8527 E. Government Center Dr., Suttons Bay, Michigan.
The Appeals Board will reconvene its meeting from July 25, 2023, to hear a request to appeal a ventilation requirement for a new commercial storage building currently under construction that will be used as a four-level whiskey barrel storage for the Traverse City Whiskey Company.
This project is located at 9440 S Center Hwy., Traverse City Michigan, 49684. The building permit number is PB21-0660.
A copy of the packet regarding the appeal may be examined at the Leelanau County Department of Building Safety, 8527 E. Government Center Dr., Suite 109, Suttons Bay, Michigan. All interested parties are invited to attend in person.
Leelanau County will provide necessary, reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audiotapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services should contact the Leelanau County Clerk by calling as follows: Michelle L.
