The EAA Chapter 234 Grand Traverse Region, which includes Leelanau County, announced two Ray Scholarships up to $11,000 and other benefits as well for local area young people to obtain their private pilot’s license.
“It is the goal of this chapter to award scholarships each year as part of our youth education program,” EAA Chapter President Bill Ross said in a press release. “These scholarships are possible due to the generosity of the Ray Foundation, EAA and our chapter members.”
Scholar Eligibility and Requirements: Ray Aviation Scholarship Fund applicants will be the most engaged, excited, and motivated aspiring pilots the chapter has had the pleasure of meeting.
