The annual Winterfest Chili Cook-off in Glen Arbor was its normal success, it was cold and sunny, everyone, as usual had a great time.
We had 18 entries this year and the winners were Glen Lake School, first; Boonedocks, second; The Mill in Glen Arbor, third; Hansen Foods of Suttons Bay and Bear Paw Market tied for fourth, and Shipwreck Café Empire and Good Harbor Grill tied in fifth.
All in all a great time and great chili and will do it again next year. Many thanks go to Boonedocks for the use of their deck and Bob and Stephanie Ewing for the work putting it together. As always well appreciated, and as an aside, the music was outstanding as always those guys are fun.
