To the editor:
Wow! I attended a BOC meeting on 02/13/24. It was a packed house. There seemed to be a lot of talk about some 50-minute presentation to be put on by some guy in a red shirt. I sat intently listening as the commissioners navigated their way thru the packed agenda. The crowd thinned out and toward the end some guy named Jim presented video clips of computer hacking. I must be ignorant, but I always thought computers were a good thing. To my amazement, programmers can be bad people. Now I understand when we talk in the privacy of our living room, we start getting ads on social media relating to our conversations. I also know why there is so much identity theft. Nothing is safe, including our election machines.
