7:13 a.m. — Solon Township — One of the drivers behind a Chevy Silverado, reporting slow inconsistent speeds, swerving all over the roadway.
8:35 a.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Caller reports a bad smell in the house, doesn’t know what it is, possibly a gas leak.
9:50 a.m. — Leland Township — Neighbor hostile with caller over the years, having construction done. Using the caller’s property to access without permission. Caller already spoke to workers.
11:24 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller said she slammed fingers in the door. No assault occurred. Heated argument.
1:24 p.m. — Bingham Township — Possum injured, just south of the trail bridge on the side of the roadway.
Wednesday, Feb. 21
1:09 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Driver is all over the road going from 55 mph up to speeds of 110 mph, no traffic. Fleeing and eluding and turning into Grand Traverse County. Went off the road, threw something out of the window. In the wrong lane, ran the red light with speed of 80 mph, still all over the road.
10:50 a.m. — Solon Township — Caller’s son incarcerated in Grand Rapids. Had a school laptop belonging to someone out of Boyne City. Believed to be at another residence, does not want to go to the residence alone. Caller is unsure how to get the laptop back. Subject states he dropped that laptop off several months ago at the school to the assistant principal.
11:08 a.m. — Solon Township — Caller reporting ongoing issue with speeder in black Dodge Charger. Every morning, eastbound on M-72 between 7:15 - 7:30 a.m.
11:36 a.m. — Solon Township — Neighbor’s dogs are at large running around their yard and other neighbor’s yards.
1:53 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller is in Glen Arbor where she lives. Phone was stolen from Lake Leelanau around 12:30 p.m. today. Phone was returned to the owner.
5:27 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Female speaking loudly about drugs at local restaurants. In custody for disorderly
conduct.
Thursday, Feb. 22
2:12 a.m. — Solon Township — Two suspicious vehicles reported.
Friday, Feb. 23
10:10 a.m. — Bingham Township — Received a jury summons from federal court in Grand Rapids. Unsure if it is a scam and would like law enforcement to look it over. Paperwork was inspected, it is legitimate.
11:23 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller complaining about a construction company. Sold equipment and business.
2:13 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Personal protection order violation. Caller said she saw a screenshot of a text.
3:10 p.m. — Empire Township — Caller made a call to online credit card account and found approximately $10,000 in fraudulent charges. Various payments in southern California.
11:09 p.m. — Solon Township — Caller heard two sets of three gunshots. Possibly coming from the south of her location in the area.
11:24 p.m. — Solon Township — Called reports a black truck going 73 mph that almost hit him.
Saturday, Feb. 24
8:15 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Child staying for the weekend and stole money from caller’s wallet.
10:18 p.m. — Bingham Township — Checking on two suspicious vehicles at the boat launch.
Sunday, Feb. 25
12:05 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Mail Truck reported going the wrong way on M-22.
2:21 a.m. — Leelanau Township — In custody on warrant and operating while intoxicated. Driver refusing all sobrieties.
1:39 a.m. — Bingham Township — Suspicious vehicle reported. Checking on a vehicle that pulled in the dockside.
11:55 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller was looking for a puppy. Seller wants $250 in Walmart gift cards to ship the dog. Walmart said to file a police report.
6:18 p.m. — Elmwood Township — On walk with dog. The dog was attacked by a medium size mix. Went to the vet and the dog is okay.
11:05 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Checking on a suspicious vehicle at the beach.
Monday, Feb. 26
8:54 a.m. — Bingham Township — Caller was taking kids out to the bus stop and a small, white truck blew right by the extended stop sign on the bus.
12:04 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller found a mini white yorkie on the side of the road with no collar. Owner came up upon arrival. Dog is home now.
12:50 p.m. — Leland Township — Someone’s car alarm has been going off 10 or more times in the last day. No idea who owns the vehicle.
1:59 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Male subject came to residence. He attempted to enter code and door lock, then looked around and left.
4:27 p.m. — Empire Township — Female is being combative and putting others at risk. Disorderly conduct.
5:08 p.m. — Elmwood Township — A 40 lbs female, 10-months-old, chocolate brown lab mix with orange and blue collar and no tags ran off.
11:28 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Grandson tore grandmother’s truck apart.
