Suttons Bay senior Lauren Lint drained a 3-pointer with less than a minute remaining to propel the Norse to a 38-37 win over Cadillac Heritage.
“I was honestly shocked. I thought I was air balling the shot, but It made my night because it’s my birthday today,” Lint said. “Pulling out a win for our season was really good. We needed it. We needed it bad.”
Lint dominated the game with 24 points on her birthday.
“I feel like we worked more as a team tonight,” Lint said.
Suttons Bay forwards Brooke Wilson and Keeley TwoCrow provided critical baskets with six points each.
