Remote Operating Vehicle Workshop
The Glen Lake Library in Empire will host a workshop by the Inland Seas Educational Association on Saturday, March 9 at 11:00 a.m. The ISEA team will provide a brief overview of their Remote Operating Vehicle (ROV) program, used to enable researchers and industry professionals to visually assess underwater areas. Participants will then take part in a hands-on exercise, using problem solving and teamwork to craft a functional ROV. This workshop is open for all, but is ideal for kids in grades 6 through 12 and their parents. Space is limited, so please contact the library in advance to register: 326-5361.
