NATO should have accepted Ukraine

To the editor:

If NATO would have accepted Ukraine into the organization before the beginning of the Russian invasions or even after, the war would be short-lived. A loan to Ukraine could have been made in good faith by all of NATO, instead of money and lives spent fighting.

I’ve got a negative opinion of the Russian people as they are letting Putin dictate their lives. They don’t seem to want, care or know how to deal with corrupt leaders of their country. The French had made a big difference in their democracy. We fought the Brits for ours and we’d do it again if necessary. We can’t and will not let dictators take over our country.
