Janik right man to help

To the Editor:

I agree with the County’s Board decision to bring back Chet Janik to provide both help and guidance in finding our next County Administrator. During his tenure, I did serve several times on the County Planning Commission, and Chet often had both advice and very useful help when needed. Of all the County Administrators since 1980’s, in my opinion, he was, and in fact still is the best County Administrator that Leelanau County has had in the last 4 decades.

So, the decision to being him back to help our County Board find the next County Administrator is an excellent one.
