Tuesday, Feb. 27

8:03 a.m. — Leland Township — Gray Toyota 4-runner passing in double yellow forcing oncoming traffic off the road.

9:03 a.m. — Leland Township — Caller reporting anonymously about drug activity.

12:26 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller concerned someone may have broken into the house.

1:59 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Scruffy 25 lbs gray dog is skittish and won’t come to the caller or anyone else. In the roadway.

4:02 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Road hazard reported. Large pallet of windows/glass in the roadway.

10:17 p.m. — Bingham Township — Caller was threatened by coworker’s boyfriend a few days ago.

Wednesday, Feb. 28

8:39 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Driving a semi, nearly to the top when he started to skid backwards. Managed to stop, partially blocking one lane. Road commission was notified and a sander was sent to assist.

9:56 a.m. — Centerville Township — Talked with a male through the closed door, he refused to identify himself. Offered assistance and he did not want any help.

5:21 p.m. — Centerville Township — Caller is being harassed in messenger.

6:49 p.m. — Elmwood Township — A strange vehicle, a gray Camry, in the neighborhood reported.

Friday, March 1

5:20 a.m. — Leelanau Township —Female went off the road and now she cannot find her vehicle. One in custody for operating while intoxicated.

10:00 a.m. — Empire Township — Received a call about someone laying face down on the sidewalk. Patient refusal.

10:46 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Light gray Subaru, older vehicle, not a sports car. Ongoing issue with a younger driver speeding dangerously down the road around 60 mph.

10:54 a.m. — Empire Township — A guy is walking down the road yelling at everyone. Per roommate, the subject left and he is fine.

5:05 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller thinks he found mortar shells in the basement, not sure if they are live. MSP bomb squad looked at pics and will take care of it tomorrow.

7:00 p.m. — Leland Township — Good Harbor Winery advised a male came to the winery when it was closed and forcefully opened a locked door.

9:34 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller has a man in her house and would like him to leave.

9:41 p.m. — Cleveland Township — One in custody for operating while intoxicated.

11:36 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Received a call about a female in black Lexus. Female was looking in the caller’s windows and work van.

Saturday, March 2

2:58 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Anonymous caller from Tennessee called and wanted to report that he thought some friends may have left a party about 20 minutes ago. He is worried that they have been drinking.

11:37 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Driver and passenger are intoxicated and appear to be arguing. Red Hyundai parked the opposite way, they asked to call a tow truck and said that the car was broken down.

4:56 p.m. — Elmwood Township — 911 hangup. On callback voices were heard, but no one came to the phone. Attempted second time, the female states someone accidentally called but sounded unsure if there was any need for further assistance. Male heard in the background asking for his phone back and stating he wanted the police to come.

5:33 p.m. — Solon Township — Blue pickup truck hit the bumper of his wife’s car and then took off. Kids got a license plate. Not seeing enough damage to equal an accident report.

7:30 p.m. — Solon Township — Caller heard screaming when they were outside walking their dog. It is now silent. Caller is worried someone could be in trouble and said screams sounded chilling. There were about nine or 10 screams before it was silent. Unfounded, will be clear.

Sunday, March 3

12:01 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Found a bartending book on the side of the road.

8:10 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Gas station called and said the individual left without paying. They are heading back to pay.

9:56 p.m. — Solon Township — Yellow Chrysler Crossfire on sobrieties. One in custody for operating while intoxicated.

9:57 p.m. — Empire Township — Caller reported seeing some sort of fire. He also reported the power going out, so it may have been a blown transformer. Consumers’ already on scene and will be talking to them.

Monday, March 4

6:04 a.m. — Bingham Township — Caller reports a dark hatchback Sedan was swerving a little bit and driving without lights on M-22.

10:04 a.m. — Centerville Township — Individual took his wallet and keys. Lives with caller and has taken from him before. Wallet and keys were located.

10:05 a.m. — Solon Township — Dark blue Ford SUV reported for school bus/traffic violation.

10:52 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Black Toyota Tundra truck driving at very high speeds. Would like additional patrols in the area.

12:14 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller thinks he can get grass fire under control. Caller called back to cancel. He was able to extinguish the fire on his own. He will stay and monitor the area for any flare-ups.

2:56 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Can smell smoke and will be out investigating.

7:04 p.m. — Bingham Township — Neighbor’s dogs bark every time the caller goes in the garage or outside.

10:49 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller is reporting a tree blocking the whole road.
