A self-appointed citizens committee may be near to finalizing a proposal they hope the Leelanau County Road Commission will adopt that would ease standards for commercial driveways along county rights-of-way.
Representatives of a “Curb and Gutter Policy Review Committee” (C3A) appeared at this week’s road commission meeting with a 12-page document outlining their concerns and options they’d like commissioners to consider.
