A Traverse City man has been charged for larceny greater than $20,000.
Ronnie L. Cash of 8772 Lakeview Hills Rd., Traverse City appeared last week in District Court for his arraignment on three charges: Larceny of $20,000 or more; false report of a felony and a habitual offender, second.
On Feb. 22, deputies responded to a Leelanau County home at the request of Cash, who stated a person unknown to him had stolen more than $20,000 from his roommate, who was lodged in the county jail on unrelated charges. Cash and the roommate are the only persons with access to the money, which was kept in his room.
